Founder: Ken Wambold

Ken began his automotive career in 1976 as the first F&I Manager for Ohio’s largest Buick dealer. He successfully grew the department into a multi person and profitable area of the dealership. Soon afterward, he then used his finance experience to help build what became the largest dealer affiliated leasing company in the United States.
Over the next several years he held positions of sales manager, general sales manager and general manager for Buick and Toyota dealerships. His accomplishments included leading the dealerships to top sales positions and CSI rankings.
Ken then teamed up with JM Family Enterprises to form a commercial fleet leasing company, where he developed a large portfolio of fleet leasing clients before joining the initial start up team of AutoNation USA, in 1995. Here his many years of knowledge and experience led to the development of many of the sales, service, parts and CSI processes used in today’s dealerships. After returning to JM Family Enterprises in 2000, he developed and implemented sales and marketing processes to increase the sale of ancillary products and other automotive finance products.
Currently, Ken is president and owner of Strategic Automotive Services, a diversified automotive consulting company. He has been successful in coordinating dealer and manufacturer relationships throughout the United States, the Caribbean and Canada, specializing in improving dealership profitability and mergers and acquisitions. Due to his extensive experience in automotive dealership operations he is well known throughout the industry as an excellent coach, trainer and motivator.
Ken currently resides in North Georgia with his wife of 37 years and has two children and four grandchildren living in the Atlanta area.
